Sometimes I must pause and marvel at the significant role craft plays in Peridot’s success despite the expansion into CNC (Computer numerically controlled) machining. On our floor daily one can see the importance of craft which cannot be learned from a textbook. Whether it is anticipating spring back in a tempered material which must be formed or determining how far a material will stretch without fracture, experience based craft contributes heavily to our success.
